In
2000, we began raising Miniature Herefords here at our
mini-ranch. We started by purchasing one cow and two
heifers. I bred those to a top quality Miniature Hereford
bulls.
We have purchased
top-quality breeding stock from West Texas and
Nebraska
. As a result of this and breeding to a top-quality bull,
I feel that we have a herd that is second to none. Our
heifers and bulls are heavy with muscle, close to the ground,
mature early, are very fertile and convert feed efficiently.
